Our Team

We started Roteping in 2018 with a simple idea: give the Nepali community in Australia the kind of nights we grew up with back home. Since then we’ve watched Sydney audiences fill ICC Sydney Theatre and Hordern Pavilion for Nepali artists — something that once felt out of reach.

Thank you to every artist, partner and ticket holder who has come along for the ride.

Every screening and every concert is the work of a team that goes the extra mile — coordinators, crew, photographers and videographers who care about the details as much as the audience does.

Next, we’re taking what we’ve learned home to Kathmandu, and bringing Nepali film to Sydney with a festival of its own.
